Are we still good to update our efilive, or should I not do it because of some emissions things? I'm wanting to update strictly for some tcm things that came out in the past year that I haven't done yet. Thanks

After the latest update I've had some bugs in the scan tool. Search "scan tool probs" to see what trouble I'm having . Other then that everything has been fine.

I'm in a similar boat after getting a new laptop and loading software it forces me to use version 8 to read/write/log. It wants me to update firmware but I've been worried about loosing certain functions if I do.

Back last year I heard they were going to restrict the emissions portions first of this year, but there latest statement says they are not going to restrict emissions anymore and will be leaving it up to the end user to abide by the local laws. So it looks like after telling us they would restrict us in 2012, now they are going back to there origanal stance on it.

Great news thanks! I had a tuner tell me he thought changes were coming and I wasn't sure when.

What changes were made to TCM tuning?

Nick, you will be able to control tc lockup. It won't hinder lockup based on user controlled slip limit. I believe you can adjust from 625 to 1100 rpm slip. Probably wouldn't word for a pull truck, but ill be glad if I don't need to by a lock up controller for my new daily driver.
