Steering shaft ?

When you replace the shaft in the above picture that bearing will pop out of the end of the tube, pop the new green one in place and install the new intermediate shaft.
Just be sure to put your seat belt through the steering wheel so when you pull the bolt out of the Intermediate shaft the wheel doesn't get spun and break the clock spring.

I put the shaft in, never heard of changing he bearing, it's been in for several months and all is good so far.

Thanks . After I get my tires and shocks replaced I will change the shaft and bushing
