steering and suspension help. Ok i have two problems i need help diagnosing.

First 1.
In the front end, i have this like popping loud clunk that happens mostly when i change between forward and reverse, and the using of 4-wheel drive. This almost sounds like something shift in the front end, and on the right side. now when i mean the right side, i mean to the right of the driver, so that i guess could mean the differential or the control arms. my thought was control arm, but I'm really at a loss.

Secondly 2.
in the rear end i have the sequeling that sounds like when a brake pad is worn down, and the wear bar is hitting the rotor, which it is not. my brakes are good. i has replaced the parking brakes, and checked the backing plate. it does change pitch when i swerve from left to right. Also i have a drone/ humming sound from the rear end, sounds like a box truck rear end (if you know what i mean), I'm not sure if this is a similar issue or not. all fluids (in both front and rear differential are good, and only have 10K since changed)

Forward too reverse could be a u joint but that is driver side so almost directly under the driver seat.

Could also be one of many joints on the front end as well as wheel bearings, what on the front end is stock and what and when was it last replaced ,how many miles and what kind of use during those miles?. Just have to get under there and start checking for movement.

So the truck has 150K on it, i bought it at 140K. i don't know if any bearings, or universal joints have been done in its history (that is for both the front and rear)

the truck is leveled, and i have heard that can cause problems with ball joints and such, so I'm gonna look into that, replacing control arms, outer tie rods.

For the rear end, I'm not sure, i might do universal joints, and the wheel bearings, since they are more or less wear items, and would be good to do those anyways. I'm hoping its not carrier bearings, or pinion bearings. as i don't have experience replacing those.

Start by inspecting u joints and replace them if necessary. I'm pretty sure your truck 1410 u joints. Check your ball joints up front by barely getting the wheels off the ground and prying the tire up and down while looking for any play in the joints. Grease them first and see what that does.

There is a clunk that is normal on our trucks when shifting into gear. Its the drive shaft splines needing to be greased its not an issue just annoying and doesn't always go away after greasing.

Definitely and check the U joint. I had to pull my drive shaft off to see that mine where going out.

My truck had a pop like that and it was a loose cab mount. I tightened that up and it went away for awhile. Now it is back again but this time I am suspecting sway bar end links because they look pretty rough.

Shot in the dark, considering the age of the truck have you inspected the mounts at the cross member for the torsion bars.?

no i haven't? are referring to the key for the torsion bar, or where the cross member bolts to the frame?

There are two mounts riveted to the frame that support the cross member for the torsion bars.
