Hey guys,

Trying to finish up a 2003 2500HD White Ext/Shortbox truck but need help on where to find a economical steel fabricated front bumper. I already put a new complete front OEM bumper that is painted white on it but I really would like to try a big welded push bar style bumper.

I am not looking to spend over $1,000...would like to spend less if possible. I don't need anything fancy just something that doesn't look like ass.

Post up some links or brands if you can.

Thanks,

Josh

Good leads so far, thank you.

I should mention, I am looking for something plain jane that won't stick out too much. Do not need reciever mount, winch mount or 1,000 holes for lights. I am not looking to push down the empire state building and live in the city so no real deer hazards.

I also am looking for the same thing as the op.

Also the plastic skid plate that goes on my truck is broken. Where can I buy a cool aftermarket one? Thanks in advance.

I don't know of anyone who makes aftermarket skid plates. If you know a good welder, i don't think it would be too hard to fab up a replacement.

try rangeroffroad, look at the replacement front bumper section. Around 1k.

Good website, thank you.

I am thinking about going with the Tough Country TFR0220G. Reason being, the bar that goes around the upper headlights is straight instead of raised on the outside like the Chevy version. Truck is a white ext. cab shortbox....

Anyone know if Gage bumpers are still around? They have a nice one I am looking at online but no response via email and the phone number listed is out of service. Maybe that is a sign lol......

Guess I should update this. I ended up buying a Ranch Hand full replacement. I was very skeptical but once I mounted it I was happy. It was built very well, came with everything needed to mount plus brackets and hardware for OEM fog lights, and it fit like a glove. On the other hand I wouldn't have purchased a Ranch Hand if I had a Chevy because I do not like how they flare up on the sides by the head lights. Overall I was very happy.

Fast forward, I sold the bumper and then sold the truck. I am trying to decide if I want to put another replacement bumper on my 08.

Thanks to those of you who put their 2 pennies in.
