I just got my 05 25000hd diesel today from the auction yard. I have two dead batteries and when we put jumper cables on the truck all of the outside lights turn on and so does the odometer showing the mileage but the dash does not light up and the truck does not start at all. I am hoping its just because it needs batteries and not another problem. The truck was listed as starting fine but I am sure it sat for a while in the auction yard. Any specific things I should look for before buying two new batteries. I checked fuses and none are blown. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance guys.
