Starting problem

My lbz 2006 wont start with batterys fully charged
I don’t know if it’s starter or alternator

Previous owner said there was a issue sometimes starting .this is why he sold it to me .i knew I need to get electrical problem fixed
He is a friend of mine .he will pay half of fixing with me

Going to need more info then “wont start”. Does it turn over, dash lights on, any codes, etc.

Bought 2 batteries .that seemed to correct problem.
Even though old batteries charged .they were still bad .batterys had bad cells even though they were fully charged.
Batteries are 5yrs old
A easy fix .im so glad .
