Thanks man! I'm shooting for stock ride height... Or a hair lower. Yeah I see what your talking about. Both the upper and lower links will be parallel with the frame, but the top links will be set in twords the center about 3". When Im finished, I should be able to adjust the ride height fairly easy.

It all looks good on paper I guess... Haha we will see how it works on the truck!

Started on the axel brackets tonight, also got the other lower link bracket tacked up.

Somebody else had asked me about replacing the torsion bars with coil overs...I did think about it, but Im thinking that will be next winters project.

I am going to have to drill more holes... The design kinda changed 1/2 way through. I also need to find some write ups on 4 link setups so I can read what others have found.

Wow, this is awesome! Your fabrication is top notch! I dont say that about very many people.

I will getting started on my axle truss this weekend. Smokin Duradog has changed my mind to an upper triangulated 4 link.

Thanks guys, I sure do appreciate the compliments... :thumb:

There is still alot of fitting and welding to do, but I'm really happy with the way it's all turning out. Hopefully, by the end of the day tomorrow, I will have everything fit and tacked where it needs to be. (I'll make sure to take lots of pics!)

I need to add a couple more adjustment holes... Which you can see is a bit limited.

I'm sending the bars to be heated treated on Monday.

And thanks again for the compliments! Ive spent a ton of hours under the "hood" to Be where I am now!

I have a question about how your fitting up the tube adapters into the tube prior to welding. I have always butted them up completely, tacked each side 180 degrees apart (physically double check the length) and then ground the joint as deep as possible. Last grinding the tacks out. I use the tig to fuze the bottom together then fill and cap on the second pass. I feel it insures a complete weld and doing 2 passes I get to keep the heat down. Just wanting to compare techniques. Thanks.

^^^ that is almost exactly how I do it... I tacked 4 times around the tube, bevel the tube, and the tube adapter as much as possible. My first pass I do add filler to get it flush with the tube.... Just making sure its burning all the way to the bottom of the bevel. Then my second pass, "the cap" I'm pulsing to keep the heat down.

Sharing techniques and tips makes the quality of work go up bigtime I think. You sound like you really know what your doing! How long have you been welding? It's great talking to another Fabricator! :thumb:

Started welding when I was 12 so, 16 years ago. Been doing it for a living for the last 5 years. I enjoy it but the job I have leaves little time for my own projects.

I agree, sharing different tips and tricks improves the end result. I always like to ask and see if there is a better/easier way. Sometimes you just gotta break out the grinder.

Awesome job by the way and I look forward to the seeing it finished! What did you decide for side to side movement, panhard or watts link?

I'm I'm gonna go with the panhard bar... The watts link would be sweet but I already have the material for the panhard...

I made good progress today, not as much as i wanted... (The wife says there are things to do at the house) haha Ill send the pics to get posted up as soon as I get a chance
