I have 1 3/4 and 1 1/4 lol but no 1 1/2. AMS usually has great deals. i get all my steel through them. If you set up a company account they hook you up even more.

I have an account there through my dads company. And yes they hook you up crazy when you buy the amount of steel that we do.

To answer the question as to what I'm building, I built a remote mount turbo kit for my truck. Its all done except for the down pipe, IC tubing and intake manifold. However I want to build another one out of smaller tubing since the shedule 40 2" has an OD of 2.39. Makes for bolting up to the turbo a little tricky.

Once I install the kit and make sure it works correctly I will post pics.

What was the idea behind remote mounting a stock turbo?

I just used a stocker for mock up. I'm replacing it with my 4094avnt that will also have a billet wheel or batmowheel if I can find one.

I wanted to do something different and I have been wanting to build a sheet metal intake manifold. Cant do that with a turbo in the valley. I think it should be pretty BA when its done.

I'm also going to build a sheet metal intake one day..I have all the tools and materials back home..so are you going to keep the stock uppipe style or are you going to change all the piping?

Rick at ProFab has the U bends, i used them to make my pedestal and up pipes. It's nice and thick and welds nice.

Ricks is 11ga .120" I was lookin into doing my own kit if I only had a welder here and for the bellows, flanges, and bends he has some damn good prices..I'm sure you could get him to throw in some 2' pieces and some 45* bends in there..
