stack instal question

started to put my stack in the truck tonight got, the whole cut and stack lined up, went to put my 90 on and noticed there is a pesky crossmember there, has anyone notched this out to be able to get the pipe to line up, want to keep it close to the back of cab, think it looks better, and i already have the hole cut, any feedback would be greatly appriciated

You are talking about a bed crossmember right.

Then yes notch it. I did the same thing on mine.

thanks, it doesn't need much, just about a quarter inch, maybe half at the most, if i do trim it back a little am i going to compromise the strength of the truck enough to matter

i just used a grinder and sawzall and for my 90 i just used a piece of flex pipe which held to get around a frame cross member

grind that sucker, my best friend did the same thing on his, I ride in the truck daily, no change. I do agree tho, it does look better closer to the truck
