Well it’s back again.

Actually it came back last summer and had a couple intercooler boots that were shot. Replaced all 4 and it was good again until a couple days ago.

It seems to start when heading down hill while towing a load and the tranny down shifts and rpm increase.

It’s getting annoying.

Nothing new at all in the last while. Will check the bolts and do a boost leak check again.

The shop today says it happens between 3-8psi boost.

It happens at 5 seconds, and again at 10,12,13,19. Definitely more louder and annoying to me while driving.

Texas!!!
That sounds like a pretty significant leak. It wouldn't take much for a good shop to locate and fix that.

Yes. I agree. Neither could find it so far. Do you think it’s intercooler system leak or exhaust?

Sorry for the stupid question, but what do you mean by drive pressure leak? Intercooler and boots etc?

It was a cracked up pipe gasket. Not fully cracked through and that was why I didn’t have an exhaust leak. Found with stethoscope. New gasket and good to so.
