Spruced up the old girl

Finally wore out my falkens and I told myself I'd be switching to 20's and 305's.



Bit the bullet and ordered some Kumho ecsta stx 305/50/20's and some Vision 420 locker wheels. Wheels showed up yesterday and tires showed up today.

Had them mounted, balanced and installed this afternoon.





Needless to say, I am in love. Looks so much better than before. These tires ride so smooth and are extremely quiet. Very happy with this purchase.

The wheels are 20x9 with a +12 offset. They stick out about an inch from the fender wells. My torsion bars are as low as they go and with minor trimming on the bumper plastic valance, they don't rub at all, even at full lock.

Yeah I've never heard of vision before so I just looked them up. They sure have a lot of familiar looking wheels..

Look just like the novakanes. Looks really good. Makes the truck stand out! Was the paint and finish nice?

The roof is plastidip. I'd really like to get it painted legit.

The finish on the wheels looked great. They have a 1 year warranty on the finish so we will see how it holds up.
