Got mine today at the auto parts store for a whopping 37 cents ..have receipts to prove it lol

Damn..knew someone would best me. I'll post pics in a few. They're nothing special just some U-bolts and flat strap and if they don't work it was only 37 cents lost

Haha great now you got me worried lol even though buying them should have...that's my luck..guess well see how it goes ive the tire protection plan from discount tire maybe they'd replace it lol

I got my u-bolts from tractor supply. I think they are just 1/2 inch also. Been on since the day I bought them and no problems yet.

Definately knew when it went.... Sounded like someone fired a .50 through the frame...

I got my u-bolts from tractor supply. I think they are just 1/2 inch also. Been on since the day I bought them and no problems yet.

Oh I imagine shearing/snapping a u-bolt in half on a boosted launch would sound about like a .50 lol.

Mine are 3/4 inch thick steel flat stock with 1/2 inch grade 8 bolts. A bit overkill some might say lol

The ones I built for Justins truck (in the garage with beer, a torch, and some scrap iron) lol was 1/2" flat bar, 5/8" bolts IIRC...

They worked awesome. and still do lol.
