I only run the Socal Diesel Trucks stickers one on each rear door window, Mikes sticker, RIP SteveBricks and this site on my bedsides, used to rock a few ppe ones but decided nah. the rest I put on my trailer :roflmao:..
I ran Righteyeblind and my shop sticker on my truck... Until I got a ticket in Beaverlodge Canada. The cop was writing the shop number down and I quickly realized that it was negative publicity at that point. Also made it really hard to talk my way out of going to jail... The cop said I ran someone off the road, which I at no time ever came close but I did pass some folks in an awful big hurry. However 2 big LeterEat diesel stickers in the window was making it tough on me
Anyway Jesse, just my experience with them... I don't run any stickers anymore. Unless I had a dedicated race/pull truck that only ran on the strip/track and was given parts or money would I run advertisement...
I've had probably 200 people wanting a sticker from me for them to showcase on their trucks. If I had something clever that wasn't recognizable to the average person I would give em out no problem.
However I would only put my name on about 5 trucks of very close friends I trust. People are crazy these days.
My dad sells and installs flat bed truck beds, he has had personalized business mudflaps for probably 10 years that he put on every bed. I can't tell you how many times we have had people call chewing our ass over someone cutting them off and since our number was on the truck it's apparently "our truck"... Had someone call from Montana or something like that one time.. We r in Deep South Missouri
Sticker at your own risk.
I honestly think a lot of this is the reason you don't see many trucks with huge danville, fleece, suncoast, etc stickers driving around daily. (Or that I've seen)

I had a big back window decal on a customers lmm and we'll he got drunk and ran from the cops at 2am with my phone number on the back lol I got a phone call from the cops telling me to turn myself in and I was in huge trouble for going 135 in a 45 ect ect I was like wtf I'm in bed and not from that town they told me the truck and said ya that's not mine but a customers I was then gotten out if bed by cops from city and asked about it again like 2 hours later..... I called that friend of mine and ripped his ass and told him to go turn himself in or I'd come find him for being a pain in my ass......
So sometimes it's great sometimes it sucks lol
Shop decals are even worse for some people. Gives the shop credit for work you did yourself along with parts bought with your hard earned money. That's my biggest pride in my truck. Bought and built by me
Not a bad idea there. I don't get to crazy. Try to race to much maybe. But no drunkard running from cops or running people off the road like burn:hug:If your getting compensated for it well I'd say do it. As long as your not running from cops or running people off the road you shouldn't have to worry to much about the draw backs. Especially if you are helping a friends business grow, maybe you can do like a 2 year contract with him?
