I'm obviously far from a professional racer. But i have a local guy with a small fabrication buisness and I told him i would put a sticker across my back window if he would help with getting this thing back to 100%. Just curious what it would take for an average guy to "sell" his back window for? That and I'm sure this would include using his tig whenever I needed:). Plus the sticker doesn't look half bad. Kind of cool really. Just thought I'd see what u guys thought.

Only time I will put any sticker or decal on my truck is if the part or labor is free.

So my truck has no stickers on it. FML

I would sponsor a danville sticker on the back window if they'd give me one ... So to answer your question I'm happy with their product so not much to "buy" my back window haha

Well he's Mainly trailer repair and tig welding but he's growing. And me not being big time wouldn't say mine would be worth much. I pitched paying for half a head gasket set minus studs. Id run a sticker for that. Alot of the big name diesel places don't need the advertising everyone already knows them lol

The way we have always looked at sponsor ship or stickers for that matter is the problem with driving. Sure stickers and logos are great on race/ pull trucks. However I wouldn't ever do a sponsor sticker on a daily rig.

Say you cut someone off and give em the bird, who looks bad you or the company on your back glass? Etc...

If he is serious have him make a magnet to stick on your truck, pull it off for driving and slap it on for racing.

See I drive aggressive. But he has the same sticker and he's the one who got a 138mph in a 65 ticket in his lml lol. I thought the same thing though. Magnet isn't a bad idea but depends on if it's worth the sponsoring me parts just to have it in there when I race, vs daily driving

I've had probably 200 people wanting a sticker from me for them to showcase on their trucks. If I had something clever that wasn't recognizable to the average person I would give em out no problem.

However I would only put my name on about 5 trucks of very close friends I trust. People are crazy these days.

My dad sells and installs flat bed truck beds, he has had personalized business mudflaps for probably 10 years that he put on every bed. I can't tell you how many times we have had people call chewing our ass over someone cutting them off and since our number was on the truck it's apparently "our truck"... Had someone call from Montana or something like that one time.. We r in Deep South Missouri

Sticker at your own risk.

I honestly think a lot of this is the reason you don't see many trucks with huge danville, fleece, suncoast, etc stickers driving around daily. (Or that I've seen)

I have an HSP one on my window, they make really great parts and I like the way it looks. I'd be happy with a Danville one as well. I'm not looking for a sponsorship but wouldn't turn down free/discounted parts/labor to represent a shop that I trust working on my truck.

I honestly think most people on this forum would be ok to have a shop sticker on their truck.. Diesel place and the face space forums on the other hand...

Only "sponsor" sticker I run.

Otherwise, unless some company gave me parts (which none did) why support them so blatantly? Don't get me wrong, I will talk well about suppliers if they were helpful etc, but no free rides.

I ran Righteyeblind and my shop sticker on my truck... Until I got a ticket in Beaverlodge Canada. The cop was writing the shop number down and I quickly realized that it was negative publicity at that point. Also made it really hard to talk my way out of going to jail... The cop said I ran someone off the road, which I at no time ever came close but I did pass some folks in an awful big hurry;). However 2 big LeterEat diesel stickers in the window was making it tough on me:D

Anyway Jesse, just my experience with them... I don't run any stickers anymore. Unless I had a dedicated race/pull truck that only ran on the strip/track and was given parts or money would I run advertisement...

The only stickers I run are in support of good friends shops and when the NHRDA forces me to during their events.
