Sorry charge air clamp

I had a one of those goofy little clamps break on me yesterday and leave me stranded. The solid clamp on the bottom by the cooler on drivers side. Anyone else??? Looks really puny to me.

I'm his brother, but here the pics.. Happened at 700 last night so no option of going to a dealer and he's on a cross country trip with a loaded cargo trailer.. Very inconvenient

Can't upload a photo off my phone but yea 3 months old 15000 miles was in middle Wyoming on 80 pulling a big cargo trailer. They said they couldn't do anything with trailer so just told them to forget it. Called five star towing out of rock city had them bring me a 3 inch hose clamp 200 $ later was back on road. Gm said they wouldn't put that clamp on cause of warranty reasons

had a guy in AZ have the same thing happen on his 16 LML but at the turbo discharge. they are one time use which is retarded...

Ouch. Didnt realize you were on the road. Id be buying a 3" T-bolt clamp and tossing it in the center console, just in case.

190 miles from you.... I was at exit 150 but hey everything turned out good. Made it to Oregon and spent the day on Clear lake. We caught three limits of nice rainbow trout today.
