Am I reading this right. You had one son roll your truck and survived and another son was killed in Iraq. Sorry to hear this. You've endured to much pain as a parent. Sorry for your loss.

Can't imagine that was a comfortable ride. Honestly, I would believe the driver dying in that rollover....

Nope, he had 3 more years left. Jay and his gf both walked away (after they cut the door for Sarah to get out).
He was 16 when he did this, said something about the radio and his gf sitting next to him:rofl:
His truck however, was just dandy sitting in the driveway due to a flat tire.

Thanks Bart for the kind words.....no, it is the same son. He wrecked this around 2002. I am just recalling some old memories with pictures and my old friend Jack Daniels, I have to every now and again to keep it together.

I'm so sorry for your loss. For what it is worth, his sacrifice (and his fellow soldiers) mean a great deal to me & my family. Stay strong and remember the good times!

We actually tore it down to redo for him when he got home as a suprise, that is as far as we got. I haven't been able to touch it since. It is time though, his brother really, really wants to drive it to school.

Everyone and then I sit down over a few drinks and remember those we lost, always thinking about them just sometimes you can hear their voice and remember. You never forget them but sometimes you just need to cry it out we all do. Thoughts and prayers always go out to the loved ones.

Btw if y'all need anything let me know. Still active duty so if y'all need anything from base let me know.

Thank you for all the kind words you guys have left for me.

I have to say, I don't think I intended for this thread to become what it did. However, I can't be sure of that because I was a little drunk. I am somewhat embarrassed of the attention it garnered, that's why I took so long to respond when I sobered up. Saturday was just a rough day for me. Rained all day, home alone.......a man gets to thinkin and drinkin........memories are hard to put away sometimes. Anyway, my apologies for starting such a bummer thread.

So, if any of y'all have pics of the stuff your kids have crashed...post 'em up. I know I am not the only one!

How about one I did. My buddy is on top...the undercarriage. We had 2 girls with us no sealtbelts and we walked away. Roof smashed enough to break the front buckets.
