What I don't understand is why NOBODY other than Banks with their gong show of an intake has made an attempt at improving the flow to the cylinders in respect to a re-designed Y-bridge and intake runners?
Why spend all the time and money on huge charge air upgrades and exhaust, head work, etc. and not do anything to improve airflow in this area?
This is where ALOT of gains could be made in improving air flow in my opinion and in turn would likely reduce egt's and improve compressor efficiency. I feel it is an overlooked and under-rated part of the charge air system.
I know a couple guys that are working on something now that is addressing this and time will tell if it was worth it or not.
