Some help with idle in dsp5 Please

So I have a DSP5 tune I got from Rob and it is awesome, but I have decided I want to have it rumble at idle in the dsp 1-4 and hiss in the base tune. So here is what I did.

adjusted tables {A1114}{A2114}{A3114}{A4114} (dsp#1-#4 turbo vane target position (c) by changing rpm cells 0-800 & mm3 cells 0-20 down to 25%.
I then adjusted {B2225} (base tune turbo vane target position minimum) using the same values as above.

In my head it seems like this should work. However when I start it up the vanes go to 82%-85% at idle in all dsp tunes and 88% in the base. What am I missing?

After I tried this I did talk to Dustin over at ATP and he told me I could have it rumble in the base tune then have some of the dsp tunes hiss but not the other way around, but I didn't want to waste his time trying to get him to explain to me why it works that way. So I am hoping someone here would be able to help me out.

Any help is greatly appreciated, Thanks.

I did change the minimum table when I tried it the first time to allow the vanes to go to 25%, but no luck.

I am thinking maybe the desired boost ECT, IAT & Baro Pressure tables are what is affecting it, but that is a bit beyond my knowledge at this point. So I just gave in and lowered the max vane position A, B & C to 25 and changed all others to 25 as well so now I have the rumble in all tunes, but I wish I could figure out how to get it to hiss in at least one of the tunes.

I wish there was some sort of flow chart explaining the hierarchical order these tables are used by the computer so a guy could figure out which ones override others and therefore could figure out what all tables need adjusted. Oh well I will keep playing with it who knows a light might flick on in my head eventually and it will all make sense :D

My Danville tunes are setup like you want, "hiss" in the base tune and a deep rumble in the next 4. Dont ask me how to do it though

Just sent you a PM if you need help on this......got rid of the hiss on my tunes too as my wife wasn't too fond of the jet engine each morning. :D

Thanks for the replies guys. I have been working with Rob on it as I have had trouble getting the turbo brake to work also. Ended up needing to adjust the baro parameters for the vane and boost tables. It wasn't using the dsp tables cause of the elevation I am at here in Colorado. So I have a working turbo brake now and the hiss has kind of grown on me now, with Robs tuning it's not so much of a jet engine noise anymore (like when it was stock) as it is just a slight hiss, so I kind of like it now.

Well got it all figured out. I was working with Rob cause I noticed that my turbo brake was not working either. Turns out since I am at about 5300 ft here in Colorado the baro parameters needed to be adjusted to make it use the baro C tables as it will not use the dsp specific tables if it is running in baro A or B. Once Rob adjusted the parameters everything works good now the rumble and turbo brake. Gotta say thanks to mtl dmax and LarryJewell for helping me out with with this also.
