AAM with FOA Coilovers and some pieces by Ballistic. Built by my friend. I wish I had done it myself since he took 4 months and did some stuff differently than my brother I would have done. I think the steering will get changed since it has more bump steer than I would like.
No front drive shaft yet as you can see. Im gonna set the front down a couple inches. 8" Deavers with Bilstien 5125s in the back. Needs new brake lines as well. Wheels are 17x10 Ultra Predators. Tires in the pics are shit but once I replace the ball joints and get it aligned my 37x13.5 Baja Claws will go on. I know it needs 40s but thats out until the claws are dead. Also I think the coils may be to stiff because the flex sucks. Friend assured me they will get better by Im not to sure. I have very little body roll even without a sway bar.
I added a vid since I had to try my HD camera:thumb:

nice...its comin for mine soon...if you will get a softer longer spring for the top one it will ride smoother and flex more that way its progressive it will flex easy at first but get harder as it travels also you could crank those down a turn or two to level it out and get more flex...i build alot of offroad stuff if you ave any problems holler i could prolly help you...ballistic makes good stuff though i'm running there 3" joints on my rock buggy

Thanks guys.
Its got 600s on the top and 700s on the bottom and 180psi in the shocks. That was FOA's recommendation. The plan is to set it down about 2" since its 3" taller in the front right now

Does anyone make a high steer knuckle and arm for the AAM axle?

Looks good!!

I want to do mine so bad. I got one thing to finish before I tackle that job. I can't wait. Did you do regear the axles? I wanted to stay away from that 9 1/4 because you had or still have to run a ring gear spacer to get a 4:88 gear on the carrier. I don't want that so I was going to get a Dana 60 instead.

How big a tire you going to run with 4.88s? I thought 4.56s and 38's were a good match, hoping I got low enough.

Lookin good. I wondered what happened to you.

Does need to lose the Cali squat, but you're already on top of that, so was there any other compromises that needed to be made? What about the front brakes, still ABS, any warning lights, etc?

Nice job.:thumb:

Still running 3.73s but someday I wouldnt mind regearing it.
It gets the ABS light on right away but its done that as long as Ive been running 37s. A trip to the dealership can fix that though. It says service 4wd since I havent changed the plug to hook it up yet. Pretty much nothing else needed changed. My 17x10 Mazzi's dont work with the AAM though. I never noticed that they have an extra lip that doesnt fit over the brakes.
