They look great on the engines, looks so good, I'm coating my turbo plumbing to match.

Hummmm I have all aluminum turbo plumbing. I could anodizing to match. I like the blue tooo:D

That part that sticks up with the PCV fitting has a PCV valve in it....but other than that, I have no idea why they are so tall.

That's correct Ben, most of the factory valve cover is not much taller than ours, until you get to the vent area. The factory cover has an internal baffle and provisions for the spring and diaphragm assembly. Essentially a one way valve like a PCV.

Our valve covers should be vented to a catch can with a breather on it.

Thanks guy cant wait to get these on. I was taking mine to the powder coater friday. this will be alot nicer looking.

Looks like black is pretty popular. I run some in black during the next production run.

Clear lexan ;)? I've actually got the material here to cut them out, just haven't had spare time with getting the car ready.

Sweet! Put a Go Pro and a strobe light triggered by the rpm of the engine, watch the valve train distort and look like a wet noodle at high rpm.

Assuming you could see anything through the oil mist.
