Question: So who has today off?

We give today as a paid holiday. Even though the FedEx guy didn't agree with me when he asked yesterday and I told him we where closed today
Then quit using FedEx for gosh sakes! Jeezus, who do I have to talk to in your company to switch ya over to us? We respect businesses if they want days off! :rofl:
Had the whole week off paid, as the kids had spring break....but Roni had to work, so we couldnt go anywhere but around home.
So Ive been sleep-over/playdate/friend director this week.
Did go to Zap-zone and play laser tag and bumper cars with the kids. What a hoot!

Half day for me, had to haul a rock truck and not see the scales so 5 this morning when they were closed(normally open 24 hours a day) I snuck by and happiness is.
Here at work like usual, 9-6. But I love my job and I need the money (or should I say Guy needs my money :rofl: ) so things are good!
worked my usual 8-5 today but I got some overtime this week doing CQA for drilling methan gas wells on a landfill. That's a welcome change to get out from behind this computer and work some overtime. They haven't allowed me to work any overtime in about 6 months whereas the previous 2.5 years I never had just a 40-hr. week.

whats a day off????
left at 6AM for annual saftey meeting in IN (fun fun fun), grabbed a trailer. brought it home, jumped in the van to suck water out of a flooded basement. back in the truck to get the tires rotated and a leak in one of them fixedm waiting for that now. got a commercial job was going to do tonight but i think i'm going to join the beer of the night club instead.
not crying about the work, being self employed i'll take it whenever it comes. I did have a good chunk of dec and jan off.

I didnt work today , but thats not by choice . I ran out of work a few weeks ago . But the phone has been ringing and quotes going out so there is hope
working a triple. tonight tomorrow day and tomorrow night. then off for 3 days, then do it all over again
