Was going to wait till spring and do a trans and twin turbo and a cp3 all at once but I was trying to fill the def up the other day and the hose thingy came off and I poured the cat piss all over the motor I just washed, splashed a little in my mouth and that was it.

I windmilled the half full jug across the yard, pulled out the sawzall and got to work. Added a lift pump and just gotta throw some blocker plates in and away I go.

Lots of guys I’ve talked to say otherwise. For some reason on the newer lml’s after a few months they start to crack open at high boost. Dallas talked me into it as he had a few guys complain after a few months and buddies ‘13 started doing my it after a year out of the blue for no reason and just found out today a guy I work with did it in his ‘16 Denali last winter about 4 months after he deleted.

For $20 and 15min I’ll just do it.

No need for blocker plate, just unplug egr. There are 2 of them...

Have any of you pressure tested it without a plate?

The two LML's I have it bleeds off, even a new AC delco unit did the same exact thing. Not a large volume, but some. I might still have a picture, but one of the ports isn't even close to water tight.

Yep, my cousin and I have the same trucks both 15's his was a early 15 with the old V-band style down pipe mine was a mid year. I tuned both of them and his was never right from day one. His was always a lazy laggy turd we pressure tested them both one day and all the air we put in leaked out the exhaust right away it would'nt even hold 5 psi. Mine would hold up to about 20psi then it would eventually push open the EGR and bleed out. We put plates in his and it ran like mine, after a while I could see mine would blow the egr open at higher boost from the logs so I put plates in mine and it made a difference on how it ran to.

Jesus Christ Dale... dual exhaust with black tips, custom license plate and mud flaps. What was more tough telling your family that you were gay or posting that picture with a straight face?

Well this truck actually leaves my driveway and goes off road Nick unlike your driveway princess so the flaps are necessary. The pipes are going to get tuned up with some black. The plate was off the lbz. It’s going on the wall soon though as I’ve switched provinces so need to switch registration too. Tips are black cuz chrome don’t get you home and the AFE pipes are so short they need tips.

Shut your hole Dallas. They were 7 sided not hex and they’re sick compared to the lameness on there now.
