So like the title says, I'm thinking about selling my truck because I'm starting a new business and don't wanna ruin it and put tons of miles on it. Question is I don't know what it's worth. Its a LLY 2004 cc/sb 4x4 ls model with all the options except the LT seats. I am the second owner and it has 55,000 miles. Its in almost as good a shape as possible. Anyone have any ballpark numbers?

Well thanks for all the help... What those sites say and what people will actually pay are sometimes different. And i was trying to get real world numbers.

If you put up pictures and a list of what's all been done to it that might help.

I would also look up the value on nada & Kelly blue book then adjust the value from there based on what you've done to it.

Just my suggestion.

All depends on your location IMO. I sold my Dually in UT for 32k. Posted on the forums and everyone thought it was way overpriced.

Start high, get good pictures for the AD, I like to say "xxx amount or OBO" to get a feel for the offers that come in and get interest to "sweet talk" them...

It's only worth what someone is willing to pay for it. It may be worth x amount in someone's eyes and maybe even more in another persons...

I priced my truck a little over the best kbb value I got, considered the money and time put into the truck as well as any aftermarket mods.

Seems fair to me but I haven't been looking at what pickups are going for, especially with the low miles.

I would look on line and dealerships for what pickups are going for.

Right right. Well kbb says great condition will be around 26k does that seem fair or high?

If you can get that from someone, smile and say thank you. Its possible, but you'll have to find the right buyer. It all depends on your local market.

I've sold a few 07 classics from my used car inventory for a decent bit less with similar miles.

Best of luck to you. Edit- I work for a Chevrolet Dealership not a "used car lot" Just want to paint the correct picture. Not meant in any smart a$$ way.

Totally depends on where you're located IMO. Around here (KY), there's a snowball's chance in summer of it bringing anywhere near $26K. I'd be surprised if it brought $20K. HOWEVER, and it's something that makes almost zero difference to me whatsoever, the low miles might get you a picky buyer who is willing to pay more for the low mileage vehicle. I think it's silly to expressly look for low-mileage vehicles because, if well cared for, an average or even high-mileage vehicle can still be a GREAT buy. Conversely, a low-mileage vehicle with poor treatment or too low of miles for the age (sitting is not the best) is absolutely not a guarantee it's going to still be "like new" just because the miles are low.

Best of luck though, it does appear to be a nice truck! :thumb:

You sir hit the nail on the head, I'd take a 7 year old truck with 100-130k miles over one with 40-60k mills every time provided they both look clean and nice. I'd much rather have something that got driven over 20 miles a day than something that got started, driven a mile then shut down before it warmed up. That is no bueno.
Now if I knew the truck was sitting during the week and driven around enough to warm it up good and stretch it's legs so to speak on only the weekends or a couple days a week that's different.

OP, here in Florida I don't think you'd have a problem getting mid 20s out of it as long as it isn't too old for a bank or credit union to loan on, that may be your hold back. I don't know what their cut off years are.
