LML Snow plow prep and ride comfort???

Hey fellas, just found a 2015 Silverado 3500 SRW I am interested in buying and it has a snow plow prep front end. I know with one ton springs it's gonna be a little stiffer than a 3/4 ton but I was wondering how much more stiff this makes the ride and whether or not it's teeth jarring? Also, can the ride be changed with new shocks like Bilstien 5100s or anything else or is it other things that make it stiff? For those of you that have the package please give me your opinions on comfort. Thanks for the help guys.

My 2011 2500HD has the plow prep package and I don't think it rides any different than one without it. The bolts for the torsion bars are longer, so if you want level your truck you don't need to get different keys!

Snow plow prep is the dual alternator setup

The one ton SRW trucks in all the brands dont ride much worse than the 2500 series. The perfect truck IMO

Thanks for the responses and useful info guys, that will help me...I will not rule out a truck with snow plow prep.
