This time though there wont be no handicap excuses. Im gonna play by the 4 wheel drive rules 26 inchs 8,000 pounds so that way the only one at a disadvange is me. thats even if i can pull it off. Its possible. But gonna be a hard task to conker

congrats on the pulls! You're right, you are almost there with that setup. It did transfer some weight just not enough yet. Are you restricted on tire size? Have you tried something like a wide baja claw tire for more traction? what about running a shorter tire up front so your front starts off lower and when the back tires get traction it will lift them off the ground. This would be more like the prostock 2wd class trucks. Where do you put your weight at? I'm just guessing but maybe in the front of the bed would work. This would keep the weight off the front and give you some ballast for traction in the back. It might make a pivot point as the sled pulls your back end down. Sorry for all the questions and speculations but this has me very interested.

Yes i i have differnt tires. I put a wide set of boggers on the truck and let her rip. It broke. Weight gets put in the back of the bed in my truck. Theres no tire limit. I need traction bars and a couple other goodies to get it going

Truck sounded good!
Maybe a little less tire spin at the beginning of the run would have helped.
I would have pulled at 30". Screw anyone that wants to bitch! Most of the rules have been updated to allow it for 2wd.
