Not sure what your getting at? I think the block alone is quite the change from stock. Guess it could be considered a dyslexic combo?
I think he just means that stock is alum pistons in iron block, the ol' switcheroo :woott:
I highly doubt that an aluminum block is the solution for broken cranks..... aluminum will flex more than cast iron. Unless an aluminum block is for pure weight savings I do not see the point.
If you sling a rod through the side of a block aluminum can be repaired.
I would think you could get MANY stock blocks for the price of 1 aluminum block, no?

What pistons are you going to be using? What about the rest of the build?
