Plug it in the heater and that should go away for the most part. When you start getting into the 30-40 temps it will not want to start. It is the low compression that causes this. Have you done a compression test to see where you are? My first built motor was at 15.98/1 ans it was really bad when cold out. This time I went back up on compression to 17/1. You can up the idle pressure and it cab help some but it will not stop doing it.

If i plug the lmm in it starts perfect and idles clean but how would you clean it up for like 32* and colder starts? Its alot colder here lol

I also bumped the glowplug time up before start and it helped a little and ive raised rail at idle

I did the same stuff with the glow plugs and rail pressure

Mine are 15:1 and did the same. After around 30 k we had to change the rings. Since then Mark made some changes in the tune and it seemed to help .
