Freakin idiots that "cloud out the road" are the reason this whole deal will be dead in a few years.
The EPA is gonna jump so far up our asses we won't be able to even buy an aftermarket part for a diesel.
You think it won't happen ?
Try to buy a Crazy Larry program for a Cummins.....you can't. Ask Bully Dog why that is.....cause you won't believe me anyway.
I know...ya'll will bitch and moan and say I'm full of it....but I've been into diesels for about a decade now....I've seen where it started, what it's become...and now where it's headed.

The really sad thing about it is the morons who think its cool and continue to ask how to make one. Seems not a single one of them understands actual performance mods and what they do. There are some very stupid people in this country....

with power comes responsibility

I think there is a time and place for smoke. It's not cool running around town rollin coal just to be a "cool guy"

I agree with maine04max. Because of the turbo design on most of the GM's (VVT) you don't see these trucks getting lugged and blacking out highways and intersections.

Ah..but an LB7 can. Thats the rub.

I blow a lot of smoke at the track and at a pull, but not on purpose on the street.

This is actually becomiing a very edgy subject with me. I am 23 years old owned a D-Max since 03 when we got the LB7. I was always after power, smoke was the side effect. Now the only time my truck smokes is at the hit of throttle for maybe 2 seconds. Pat's tune cleans up very nice when the boost hits. Why in the world do you want to wire your wastegate open to make smoke? Killing you fuel economy lowering your HP. WTF is goin on?:(

I never disagreed with Tank, I disagreed with the way he went about it. We just need to find a way to edjucate these ricer fags on how to do this diesel thing on the street.

I honestly beleive if there were more open track nights, sled pulls dyno days this smokin on the street would die out pretty quick

People just need to do what they feel is right and worry about themselves.....or then again you could get dressed up and go knocking on doors and preach to everyone:rolleyes:

I will say one thing, by talking about how you dont like smoke you just make people want to do it more. Heck I rarely dust anything any more but reading this thread makes me feel like going out and shutting down main street:spit:

I beleive you want to redirect that question to another forumn that has more experience with this type of non-performance application. Just trying to do you a favor....It would also help your cause if you went back and re-read this thread from post #1 to the end.

Check out this forumn for smoke switch bs:http://www.duramaxforum.com/

So will the switch work on a stock lly?

Why have smoke without power to back it up!!!! "Smoke switch" are probably the two stupidest words ever put together!!!

Just save your pennies and make smoke and power to boot the right way!!!!
