Hello, I'm new here and I wonder if there is someone who has installed smoke switch as a lb7? And if anyone has done so, how?? Is it possible to get it in detail?? I'm from Norway, the information we get mostly from Youtube. But have not seen it for lb7 .. I am also interested in how I can make Lope switch ....

Just to help you out before the storm starts. In here, smoke and lope switches are kinda frowned upon. This is more of a performance forum and trying to get all we can out of our diesel trucks, not really who can smoke out the intersection or sound cool for no reason. Lots of smoke is lost power, hurts the environment, and makes our sport look very bad.
There are several other forums that might suite you better. dieselplace.com and or duramaxforum.com
do not, i repeat do not, go over to duramaxforum and ask for smoke. you will be called very bad names
truck....and there is much better tuning for the duramax. what are your goals with the truck? just a little more power? Look into PPE standard programmers
if you want to have a lope tune that bad the only way i know is efi live...but you are better off to have it a performance tune

Logged in to see what others had done, and to get tips. Have just bought the car, to upgrade it. If bullydog not not good, what is?? Oh how much horsepower / torque can be fetched. If your wanting a good box tuner, I would say PPE & Diablo sport are probably your best.
If you want something a with a little more user input your not going to beat EFI LIVE.
But before you go out fog out two lanes of traffic with tire smoke & soot, you need to build your transmission.

I think for someone who is just looking for an all around tuner and monitor edge is a good way to go and its safe for the most part! Plus you can pick them up fairly cheap from someone who is jumping into the hobby alittle deeper! just my thoughts! Its easy and functional for the average joe who just wants a little more pep out of there daily.
