you can run 33's on stock suspension. I run 285/75/16's on stock wheels with stock keys that are not maxed out with no rubbing problems at full lock. 4" lift you can probably fit 35's.

Lifted and racing dont mix well IMO.. That said my 05 has a 4" Tuff Country lift and I race it :) It's a solid lift for the money. I run mine with the torsions all the way down and 35" tires daily but switch to 285's when drag racing... I also pull a gooseneck without any negative effects from the lift....

my truck with a small amount of cranking had 285's on it when i bought it with no issues. I'd say level it with a cognito UCA kit, and maybe get airbags in the back for pulling your goose and you'd be gold.

that's why you don't max out the stock keys. keep it in the green zone and it'll ride fine

by race do you mean 4x4 launch??? cause for that you either need a lift with the tbars dropped all the way, or too drop your tbars all the way with stock keys.

ONLY do 4x4 launch if you have
1. CV angles level or slightly negative (turn t-bars down)
2. you have tie-rod sleeves at the very minimum

If your interested in drag racing take a trip to the track and make a couple passes. You'll get the bug and forget all about the lift. I love the look of a professionally lifted truck but I refuse to sacrifice even 1/10th for one so im staying stock height.

I'm lifted 4" with a tuff country lift. It's actually a 6" lift but i swapped out the rear blocks and brought it down to 4" of lift. I run a 33x12.50R18 and clear great. I pull a 30" GN with the pull truck on it all the time and it rides great and never have to worry about clearance.

I've brought the front down a little more since thise but you can at least see how the rear sat with 2" shorter blocks like you'd have with a 4" lift and 33s.
