My LLY did that with a stock turbo. Pissed me off. It'd throw smoke and rattle along and at 3100 when it shifted it was gone.
If I launched it, 2 wheel or 4 wheel it'd go.

Slow response 1st gear...Issues?

It's not turbo lag. I can hit 20psi in 1st gear mashing it from a dead stop before it shifts. It never did this before. Then after the truck had sat for 3 days, it started. Its not tuning either because I have tried plenty of old tunes that never did it. Also I thought to much fuel choking it out down low so we scaled the maf back...amplified the problem big time. It was like driving an N/A diesel then like a switch was flipped, it takes off.
If I had a random guess I would say something with tc lock up being you have been through everything else.
Im just trying to think outside the box. Giving some ideas to think about. What about the cp3 controller?

I wouldn't question it if it did it from day one. But it didnt. It never acted like this until a day after I put the dual pumps on.
Its the curse of the LLY, I don't think mine ran the same twice in one day. One minute it was a turd next it was like Earcle on crack.
My LMM is the same way, ****er lagged and dogged around all day when I punched it, so when I was expecting the 2 second go go delay, I mashed it and ended up facing back the way I came before I got it shut down, didn't do it again all day.

It was a brand new ppe controller. Maybe tomorrow I'll bypass the other pump and see if anything changes.
