Bosch certified! I made sure of it and brand new high pressure lines! OKI asked this earlier but i don't think anyone answered it can the fuel pressure regulator do all of this? Cuz another thing I've caught every once
and awhile is if am sittingand a red light you can hear a sudden surge in the idle this it goes away.

Yes unhooked it and it's fine! But was wondering if the fpr can cause the lag because I have a fuel surge everyone once and awhile.

Not normally but they do what you describe create a surge or lope. Usually some additive will help with it sticking. Some two-Stroke oil or anything non alcohol in every tank. Any drying agent like alcohol will ruin the seals in the injection system.

So before i installed the injectors and the lift pump i found a bunch of kinked lines, and today i found another one. The two that come up on the driver side I think the feed line and return line well the smallest one was kinked bad. What does this do and could it be my problem?

Can anyone give me a run down on what a kinked return line off the back of the motor would do? Just for my own information.

Go to McDonald's, order a shake, tie your straw in a knot and enjoy. You will understand.

Well I understand all of that! It's just surprising that the truck runs and idles fine with it kinked that bad. Except with poor acceleration under load. Have I damaged anything by driving it like that, bare with me remember first time owner of a diesel.

At idle hardly a demand for fuel, accelerating bigger demand for fuel. Restrict fuel delivery? Strange things might or could happen. If you had a way to log fuel rail pressure command verses actual you might see t.
