Sup guys! I just put in new injectors and the truck runs alot better but am kinda worried that it' not a responsive as it should be! If i give it quarter throttle it gets up and goes but this is the wierd part if am rolling at 65 on the highway and flat foot it it seems to dog out. I've read a bunch of forums about this but there ether poor acceleration all t he way through but mine is fine in tell i get after it. And that's on level 3 low boost setting on 4 on my edge. does anybody have a idea?

What's the deal? The deal is you have edge and not EFI live. I'd ditch the box and find a tuner.

With the edge on the truck and on the lowest setting does it still do it? If so, does the bogging down get worse as you bump up to stronger tunes?

On the mileage setting is decent but when I go to drive setting and flat foot it it bogs out! Question could it be the back down setting or just the tuner. Efi live in the future just got done dumping money into injectors
and just to tell you this is my first diesel so I never know what's it's suppose to drive like

So its just cause the edge is crap or is it faulty? It's a old version! But i. guess I'll leave it unhooked :thumb: but that means I need to get my pillar gauges to work properly:(

Could be a weakening CP3. On a small/low hp tune with minimal duration, the cp3 can sort of keep up. On a larger tune with more duration, causes the rails to drain and your truck to fall on it's face.

Yes Edge is trash, however that may not be your problem.

Take your truck out and on a stock tune floor it from a stop and take it to 80mph or so.

Now turn the edge on the strongest tune and do the same thing.

If you notice the truck was keeping up on the stock/small tune and falling flat on the bigger tune, I would say your cp3 is the problem.

It does not appear to be a Edge problem . Have you changed the fuel filter ? EFI is nice but you can only raise the HP so much seeing you have a stock transmission.

Since this is your first diesel I wonder if what you're feeling is normal turbo lag seeing you also are running a big tire. Just a hunch

Does it down shift out of OD?

The filters on my fass are brand new but under the hood been there before I changed my injectors. I think it kicks out of OD. This truck drives me insane sum times be cause am always listening to it running picking at the noises think sumthing is wrong. Can a fass 150 hurt the fpr by forcing to much fuel?

Ok so when I was changing the injectors is there anyway to make valve lash worse. Would and valve adjustments make the truck run doggy?
 kinda wondering if I need to go back in cause am staring to get another symptom:eek:

Why was a valve adjustment done? I don't understand the "I think it kicks out of OD"? You should know by the raise of RPM on the downshift. Are there any DTC'S?

Will it rev beyond 2500 rpm's ?

X2 Or your transmission may not be happy and the TCM is telling the ECM to knock it off!

Ok my Post was not clear my bad sorry! Well I was listening to my motor and I can hear a very slight thumping maybe through the air filter it's like a distant oversized cam sound but faint. Don't know if that's normal probably not:( and wonder if like leaning or accidentally touching the valves while doing injectors could cause this sound and loss of high rpm power. Not one code oil is perfect fires right up no smoke period and low rpm driving is perfect!

Your valve lash shouldn't change at all unless you pulled a head/heads off.

Too much fuel pressure from the lift pump could make your truck lope at idle a little but it won't affect off idle performance.

The new injectors you put in, were they certified Bosch reman injectors or did you go the cheapest route you could find?

You need to log desired vs actually rail pressure.
