slicks wich ones ?

I ran these a few times and then sold them. The side wall is very soft, and I've heard of failures while running on trucks. Be careful and tear them down at times to make sure they are still in good shape.

The M & H nostalgia slicks are made for heavier cars and seem to work better. I'll still tear them down to check condititon periodically.

Rob wich do you think will hook better the 390/40r17's i talked to you about yesterday or the nitto's .... and would i out grow the nitto's once the motors built and another cp3 goes on it ?

so you think the MT are worth the extra 60.00 per tire ? thats why i was considering the nitto's $$$ .

break down M&H 390/40r17 tires only = 1196.00 shipped

Nitto 18" wheels /tires = 1470 shipped

MT 18" tires/wheels = 1710 shipped

see the dellima i think the nitto's offer the most bang for the buck ... if they work well

cheapy 18X9.5 wheels from disount tire direct 134.00 ea but only weigh 26 lbs

went with the 305/45r18 Micky Tompson ET streets like others recomended weight is 32 lbs ea .

that seems to be the consinces guys claim .1-.2 diff in sixty ft times between the MT and NItto's on 10.5 cars

282.00 ea if i didnt run so much i would have stuck to street tires . hard to find anything in the 29-30" range for cheaper . 28" you can get m&h's for 182.00 ea .

M&H but they are not DOT wich is required in some classes .31.5" nothing taller that is not really wide like 15"
