Just bought a set of 30x14 cheaters on 16x10s with tubes in them. What’s everyone running for air in them? I’ve never ran a slick so I’m starting with no knowledge of them pretty much.

Thanks

I’ve always had great luck with these numbers.

For 6700-7k lbs 28F/22R for 6400-6700lbs 24F/18R. Will have to check/adjust after each pass.

Thanks for the tips. I’ll check them after each pass. What’s the reasoning for that? They fluctuate a lot? Just curious

Tire psi will rise after a pass due to heat, depending how long you wait until you’re next pass pressures can vary. I always check just because I’m OCD about little things like that. Direct sunlight hitting them will cause a psi jump as well.

A lot will depend on your race weight. I run mine at 22 in the front and 18 in the back. But I'm not running tubes. With them you can run a hair less then normal. Also power plays a huge roll. I would not run them as low if they are working the same with higher psi.

Can't remember what i ran last year on the 30x14 M&H cheaters but I was a little under 6700lbs so I will try out the 24F/18R this year and go from there.

22-24 front and 18-20 rear have done well for me a 6400lbs.
