Pulled the truck to Worland this weekend to give sled pulling a shot with the trips. Thanks to Randy Simmons (Bonestock) for helping me get there and back as well as furnishing me with a place to sleep. Enjoy. Warning: the video contains vulgar language towards the end..

Looked like you had a hook of a pull going!!

Side note: I just realized there's no "e" in "maxpowr" on your truck. :). Guessing that's on purpose?

Ya, it was the old lady cussing. :D. Best I can tell the truck overheated and the noise was the coolant overflow venting. Randy told the announcer to say I had a "superchips":coolspot:

Thats the loudest coolant pop I have ever heard  Why did it over heat? Any chance you logged the run?

Shoot! I forgot to put the "E" in there! Haha Its just what i decided to do.

I couldn't find any boots that had popped off.. Could have split one but it was dark and im probably not gonna be able to look at it for at least a week. I'm guessing it overheated from revving it that high for that long? Could have been a bit low on coolant but i doubt it. Logged it but forgot to turn it off so the log got erased.

If that truck would have ever hooked up your ground speed would have been badass but you was spinning from go, but good hook anyways truck sounds awesome:thumb:

X2. Considered throwing some duals on but wasn't sure if stock axle shafts would hold up. As slippery as it was, they would have helped a lot. Or maybe grabbing 5th would have sucked the motor down enough to gain some traction? I don't know.

5th is a big jump. But your right, on a loose track it can really help hook the truck up. Takes a lot of power to turn it though.;)

I've done it on accident before, about 400 horsepower ago, seemed to hook really nice until the engine stalled out. I was thinking shifting up long enough to even things out then drop it back down to 4th. The tcm tune I had for this pull had 5th tuned out as well, my overdrive lockout didn't appear to work with the os.

Maxpowr!

Thanks again for coming up to Wyo Matt! The truck was awesome to see and I hope there is no damage to it. You guys are welcome here anytime including Trent and his family. You gonna make it to weekend on the edge if all is ok? They probably need to see some big dyno #'s along with some sled pulling! There has to be a barrel race somewhere close enough to hit both right!:roflmao:
