So... I have decided to ditch the single turbo after a lot of frustration trying to be competitive at this elevation with a single turbo. I have been thinking quite a bit about what setup I want to go with, and would like some input from people who have had mild, to larger kits in the past and have street driven them.

I still daily drive my truck, and would like to be able to turn it up for the track and the dyno.

So far I am leaning towards HSP since I just love how clean their kits look, and I have worked with Joe and Dave in the past with my motor build and their customer service was great.

Right now I am thinking either an s369SXE and S483FMW kit, but I am also considering an s472SXE and S488SXE kit as well. I plan on running a gate for the valley charger, because I would like to have spray in the future as well. My question is will the s400 in the valley hold up better than the s300?

I would think the larger shaft in the S400 would hold up better with nitrous but I would think the 300 would be fine with a good gate and probably spool better on fuel. Depending on how much you are looking to spray you might even consider gating around the 483.

Whats your power goals?

On the street 750-800hp, but I want to run 10's at the track and put down 1000+ fuel only and 1350+ with spray

Thanks that is what I am thinking. I could always swap the 83 to an 87 but would an 87mm SXE be too large for a s369

One thing to remember is that if the wheel design isn't changed, there is no difference in billet or cast, with that said, whatever you decide to go with, Jose from ForcedIndictions is the man.

If you plan on making 1350hp with spray and running an s400 series as an atmospheric, I would consider a wastegate for that turbo as well to keep the drive pressure down. Have you thought about running an s500 series such as an s591 or GT55 (GTX5533) as the atmospheric and s400 in the valley?

Yes that is on Chase Davis's lbz, it hasent been on the dyno or track yet since I think he is selling it.

Thanks for the input, fortunately I am sponsored by HTT and Jacob has always helped me out.

I am thinking this might be the way to go. Sure it will be laggier however I think it will be easier in the long run rather than having to mod my kit down the road.

Thanks for all of the input guys!

Just my $0.02, but my 369/488 setup is doing very well. Drivability is great and when it lights it flat rips. I don't have a time slip yet or a dyno pull, but I was able to take it down the track a couple times for fun. Their timing system was down. The daily tune was trapping +120mph in the quarter and cleaned up great. So I would say they are breathing just fine.
