I believe I hold the record for worst case here...

My LBZ lasted 9 days after a VGT72 upgrade with Exergy 60's.
I'm how you'd say a "spirited driver"
It had built trans tuning for almost 2yrs and the injectors for prolly 500mi or so...

I'm keeping stock injectors/cp3. Not much larger than stock turbo. Shooting for 600hp but honestly if I thrash it around it will be on a lower tune than large tune (600)

Pretty sure you'll need more than a larger single turbo to get anywhere close to 600whp with the LB7...

Good luck :thumb:

Um no. With a built trans, lift pump and bigger turbo he could definitely see 600hp as long as he has a healthy cp3.

I have had mine on for about 8 months. I have over 70 passes and I daily drive a tune that runs 12.6 or so with multiple wide open pulls every day playing around.

So a mid or low 12sec pass=600whp?
With a stock LB7 pump and stock injectors?
And your LB7 is holding that power?
Cool:angel:

A 12.05@112 at over 6600lbs is over 600hp. The tune I dd on is in the low to mid 500 range. Lly and lb7 fuel systems are pretty similar.

And yes that is on a stock lly pump and injectors.

A couple years, probably 50,000 miles at 600hp and al is good still. Knock on wood.

Tuning plays a large part of it. If you want that instant tire eating torque, your rods are going to fail.

Yeah, the calculators estimate your power to be somewhere around 680 at the wheels and 740 at the crank, using your ET/weight/MPH in your sig;)

600hp on a weak pump and 72mm turbo is can be hit pretty easy. 600 on a 366 and a weak, not so much. better keep the idea of a built motor or replacing the stock one in the back of your mind. not everyone's motor last the same

I highly doubt that I am making that kind of power. The comp d calculator has me in the 625 range.

I went from a GT4094R at 580hp on stock pump/injectors and ran a best of 12.32 @ 108.8. Then added a Wicked Diesel Stroker pump and went 12.1 @ 116. Then went and added an S475 and went 11.84 @ 115. All have been on stock injectors I dynoed 701hp. I have always ran big timing 30*-38* and 3300+ at WOT. My key to success has always been detorqued tuning plus I NEVER go WOT on the street. I used to but no reason to anymore
