I like how the switchback LEDs turn off the white park light circuit when the amber turn signal circuit activates. I'm wondering if anyone knows of a bulb like that that uses amber for both the park and turn signal.

Mine alternate white and amber. I'm positive I've seen the dual amber. Let me see if I can remember where now.

I wonder if diode dynamo s has something in the works for an application like that. Mine go from white to Amber like Awenta's. Got mine from diode dynamics.

All I've been able to find is white and amber. If you guys come up with something, I would appreciate it if you could share a link. Thanks.

Wouldn't really be a switchback if you wanted amber/amber would it?

Maybe I'm reading it wrong... do you want white for any function?

Anyone have a link for something more reliable than an ebay special? Just saying ive had horrible luck with them burning out in a matter of months, i checked out diode dynamics and what they had seemed great but the total lumen output was only 400 IIRC. Looking for something alot brighter

400 lumens for a bulb like that is pretty bright, esp when you have 4 of then up front. I converted my drls to parking/signals however. IMO

Check here:

I never get LED's off eBay, almost always junk.

Couldnt agree more cornell.. Maybe your right about 400 lunens being alot. Anytime i bought from ebay it was advertised as over 400 lumens so after seeing how they look during the daytime they don't seem all that bright. Maybe they are just advertised as that just to sell

The thing I like about switchback bulbs is the park circuit shuts off making the turn signal more visible. I'm just guessing most dual circuit amber only bulbs have a dual intensity similar to an incandescent bulb that just flashes brighter than the park light.

If that's what you want them for it would be very easy to wire in a relay that shuts off the running light for the side that your utilizing the blinker. I did that with my LED/DRL setup I built on my Caddy. The running light/DRL shuts off when the signal is engaged.

www.superbrightleds.com is great quality despite the cheap-sounding name. Used them for a bunch of things over the years and they are great stuff.
