Well I would have to say it was close but I lost her in the end. Traveling down the highway and was at about 60 mph and look in my mirror and I see a Silverado SS coming up on me fast. So I speed up a little and match his speed and he looks over at me and I hear him kick it down and start to make a run for!!! Well I follow suit and run side be side with him till about the 115 mph mark and then he still had more!!!! I lost in the top end for sure but I was able to hang with him for a bit so it was fun non the less!!!!

Nice one, he definitely wasn't stock if he ran with your PPE. I've driven an '03 with a Whipple, and I wasn't very impressed with it. At least they look good, haha. Girlfriend's uncle has one, and I was able to pull him a little in my crew cab when it just had the Edge in it.

throwing a whipple on one wont do much... putting a tune in there... oh boy look out

My lil' bro has a VortecMax truck, same as SS just w/o the all wheel drive and bling stuff. It gets along pretty well, not like the DMAX, bet it moves.

I think you need more RPM, will the ppe let you rev to 4000?

w/ 285s mine tops out at 120 ish w/ stock rpm limiter.

Make sure NAPD actually put in a 1057 for you.

Some intake improvements make a huge difference.

Also, if you threw a HTT or a 40 series on it the SS wouldnt have stood a chance.
