I went out to my truck yesterday morning to find silly string on various places on my truck... I didn't find any evidence of it in or around my filler nozzle... Im not sure who did it, it could have been little kids with their parents but then again I don't know? I have like a quarter tank should I shake the truck(to swish around the diesel) then just siphon out all of the fuel?

Nick I dont even know what silly string is? But if it's in the tank I would think you need to drop the tank or ull the bed and ACTUALLY clean it out of the tank?

Now WTF is silly string:confused:

Nick, I doubt anybody would put silly string in your tank, but you might do little test, take some of the string you found on the outside of your truck and put it in a bowl with some diesel, I bet the diesel would disolve the silly string.

Nick, I really doubt someone would put it in your tank. Most likely kids just goofing around.

Or u can dumb about a half of pint of rubbing acolochol down your tank and it will eat it up. Make sure if u do use the rubbing acholoic methoid. Be sure when u fill up next time run a quart of 2 cycle threw your tank

Can we agree that I have the worst luck when it comes to my truck... lol a simple Fuel Pickup mod turns into my Sending unit covered thick! with rust running to a dealership only to completely blow by the exit by about 20 miles and didnt we help a broke down car? LOL
