I am having issues with my truck. For some reason it seems like when flashing a tune on the truck it won't load on the ecm... I start it and rev it up( it does rev up). Then i put it into gear and it won't go over 1200 rpm.. I tried loading up a lope tune and it won't lope. I have tried numerous things just won't run right.... AnYbOdY have any ideas?? Thanks

Do you have your MAF hooked up ???

Is his modified or stock ???

Is his a 2004 or another year ???

If you disabled codes for MAF or Overboost enable all DTC codes and MIL lamps and see if you get a DTC to set.

MAF is hooked up.... We even swapped it out from trucks...

Pull the On-Star, Radio fuses.

Make sure the doors are shut, set the e-brake.

Some 2004 trucks will not flash correctly without pulling fuses, even though most do I have one customer I have to bench flash his out of the truck or else I have trouble.

;)

Maybe flash your ecm in your buddies truck and see if it will then work in your truck.

:D

I am sure you have checked this stuff, but fuel filter, fresh fuel, no obstructions in the fuel line etc.

Are you sure it is programming. Again I would check logs against the tune and make sure everything is right. I don't think it is a programming problem even though it seems like it.

Does it smoke with a smoke tune? Lack of fuel? Does it run/idle rough? Etc etc. I don't see it being an injector either if it idles okay.

If you decide to blow it up, and you absolutely wont sell it to me, atleast invite me to watch.
