Using aftermarket flares you could convert to a dually in a semi ghetto fashion. Just use 2 different size offsets on the rear and use stock 2500 axle. Wouldn't get the full payload benefit but I'm just sayin. If you ran something like regular KMC XDs up front with the right offset matching dually XDs out back it would prolly look badass too. I remember the ORU 3500 running srw style rims up front on their truck. It had a SAS but still.....

Put the new Super Single rims and your choice of tire instead of duals and that would put a new look to it. That shorty bed might mate up cool with Supers on back and blend the front nice. Saw a 3500 with 10" lift crew/short bed new one sweet ass lookin'......The Super single wheels make it fit into perspective so nice.

I like how this guy thinks. I know if I had a dually I'd get some supersingles, I havent heard about the new wheels your talking about. Can you get normal sizes like 18s in singles now?

I looked at the dually on my last trip back to Md and De. Everything is there he said he would sell the front hub adapter for the offset the rear the rear spring and everything else you need to do it and I think also the wheels and tires. Would just need to come up with a price on the parts and put everything on a crate and ship it should not be that bad to ship..

Red I was looking right at the light you need and forgot to pull it out and cut it. I was in a rush swapping out the up pipe on my truck while we were at his shop and forgot. I will be leaving Kansas at the end of the month and be back in the Md/De area for the end of Sept thru oct for a few weeks with my truck in the body shop getting hail damage repaired and were some kid rearend me. That and doing a 3/5 drop and some cleaning up on the underside of my truck and trying to figure out what 20" wheels to run on my truck. I can crab that wire then for you if you still need it.

Gotta wonder why?????

Dodge has made a shortbed dually for a few years. I think Ford offered one a couple of years ago too, I don't think they still have it. I don't GM ever did. They just weren't practical for most types of fifth wheel or gooseneck trailer applications. I do know a few guys that had them that wrinkled the corners of their cabs with their wagons. They would sometimes work but usually with a hitch extender. And besides they just looked funny.
I have 19.5 tires on my truck. You can get them direct bolt on so you don't have any adaptors. They will ride rougher and depending on the tread pattern probably be way more noisy than what you have. There are a lot of advantages to running those tires particularly if you run a lot of miles. I can tell a slight difference in the way the truck pulls but I wouldn't go back to OEM tires at this point.
Stay safe out there.
