oil pump went bye bye at a race.

From what I hear its actually very uncommon. but you know me, if someone says "naw, ya cant break that" I'm the guy that will prove you wrong lol.

low pressure to when truck was warm/idle?? .... anything to hint towards a bad pump before it went??

Naw Wes, was all good then I ran the last run of the night, Sounded like a bird chirping when I got to timing booth. We thought it was the turbo. I could swear I heard a rod knocking figured that was it. Then Lunch with dale and Simon we pondered the idea of it might be a oil pump. Sure enough. It would loose oil press at idle and knock, which is syntoms of spun main.
