"Shock"

I knew I needed shocks but I had been looking to possibly put in new upper control arms to be able to crank up the front end some more to stop my 33s from rubbing. But just got a pretty large shock today.

thats cause Gm decided it was a good idea to put a shock on that stopped the down travel of the suspension before the UCA hits hits bump stop. Its more likely to happen to a cranked up truck but can/has happen to stock trucks

Me too. On the back also. Before I had it cranked up... Put some yellow bilstiens on after cranking it up and they eventually did the same. And then mr. norcal sold me some shocks supposed to be longer, they are still too short and compress the crap out of the bushing at full droop. They will eventually do the same.
