Did this problem slowly get worse after having the transmission done? Or has it been improving as the miles click by?

Does it do anything else strange? Sometimes even something you may think is unrelated can help point us in the right direction.

You haven't modified the rear leaf spring pack by chance did you?

The problem has been the same since day one with no progress one way or the other. Nothing else is weird to how it drives. I changed the fuel filter and added the Airdog right after the kind maybe fuel problem to no prevail nothing else changed to rear-end. Sorry I have no more detail that's why it's hard for me to figure out. I'll see as soon as I install efilive. Maybe banks tuner didn't like the built trans or did something to the tcm. I just recently removed it and have not towed with it out

If it was my truck I would try a reset of the taps now that you have removed the banks tuner. I know others disagree but if the banks was doing screwy things it could have learned some bad habits.

Leave it stock until you figure this issue out.

i suggest you call mike and report everything you have done/tried and see what he says/suggest to do next. He is the builder and he will know best. dont think you are bugging him. you have done a pretty good diag and running a stock tune will be best to help correct bad shifting habbits.

we can suggest things all day long but you dont have the proper computer to diag and suggesting things to do to the trans WITHOUT consenting with mike first is not what i would do. each trans builder is protective of their babies and will only trust certain people or have you do certain things so you do not cause more issues. Thats nothing against you post IOWA, just need this guy to get in touch with mike and get it properly diaged. there is only so much we can do over the net and his limited abilities, hes done most of what we could suggest for the "easy stuff"

I agree 100%.

Only reason I said what I said is because Mike already stated it would be hard to diagnose if it's not consistent. And because I wasn't sure if this guy is maybe a long ways away from Mike.

A lot of tests are going to be needed to hunt this down. I will bet you money it's not the trans doing it. Trans shifts only as hard as it is commanded. Something is goofy in the system and now that we are running higher pressures, more aggressive clutches and no nock down along with a triple disc converter; the problem is amplified.
I seem to recall some Banks setups use a sub harness at the trans connector which might have something to do with the converter no releasing on the downshift. It would help if the trans would do it all the time so we are not chasing our tails waiting for it to act up.

First off I'm just hoping to get help on what the problem could be. Don't need to be ?ed whether or not Mike installed my transmission or not. Things happen and maybe something happened to fail internally. Stock cp3 ,4wd ,CAI, 4" exhaust, Ppe boost valve ,Airdog 165, intake horn, monitoring everything with edge insight. Yes it has been doing it throughout all 12000 miles. No u joints aren't new nor has t case ran dry. At idol desired and actually fp is 5.5. Not sure when it acts up but will monitor next time Thanks guys. Just want to fix it because it is annoying to drive

No one is questioning you because we think you're guilty of something, but it would be helpful if we knew for sure if a proper relearn was done after the transmission was installed. If Mike installed it, we know it was, but if someone else installed it, maybe it was done and maybe not.

OK so after a few drives alone and with toyhauler all the test indicate that it jerks during regular driving and extreme with multiple jerks during same shift when the torque converter is locking and unlocking. Anyone know how to stop this?

Another thing noticed is when get on it hard with efi live on level 4 haven't even tried 5 I get slight slippage. No limp mode cause tranny should be able to handle just slight slip. Not sure if related
