Shift inhibited

Ok guys I got a 07.5 dmax, yesterday the shift inhibited popped up on the DIC so I shifted to neutral and everything was good then it happened again and wouldn't come out of 1st then the parking brake and abs lights came on followed by the SEL light. I checked the code and it came back as a PO721 I cleared it it came right back and now when I put it in drive it clunks and seems to be stuck in 2nd or 3rd. Is this just a speed sensor gone bad or somethin else. Any help would be much appreciated, thanks

Output speed sensor. Check wires #40 and #60 at TCM all the way down to the sensor.

Ok one more quick question, haven't made it home yet to look myself but is the output speed sensor on these year models still on the t case or is it on the tranny itself, thanks again for the help
