Here lately shift flares are running wild, a couple months ago I had maybe 1 or 2 occasionally, now as of last week they happen at least 20 times per drive across town. It seems to do it any time I am just driving at a set speed or going downhill. This morning I pulled into a car wash and it made the most awful noise and slammed into park. It then wouldn't pull forward, range inhibited light came on, does work in reverse fine. Waited awhile, then the only way to get it to go forward was to engage the tow mode. I drove to a small shop in tow mode, then shut it off, now it drives ok without toe mode. Any help is greatly appreciated. I'll try and get these codes shortly.

You know it's tuned.

In his other posts (feels like a neutral drop) claims it's stock other then a KN intake?

But he needs to give more info to even attempt to help him diagnose. Year ,confirm no modes etc etc .

He claimed also he had his transmission serviced hopefully it wasn't power flushed.

Can loosen up, debris and send them thru the trans. Stops up filters, hangs up trim valves, scores parts.

More info

Codes show gears out of range, etc. also showed shift solenoid malfunction, hoping it's just that. Was advised to take it to a local trans shop that can read trans codes instead of just standard CE codes. Also having issues with batteries, went out of town for week and now it won't crank. Any chance the shift issue is battery related? Trans pan was dropped and external filter replaced, not sure why internal wasn't also replaced.

Your description of codes does not help. CODE NUMBERS do. If you have battery problems, you have trans problems.
