The 8" Deavers only sagged 3" with about 11500 pounds of liquid fertilizer in the trailer.
BTW the truck sounds so goddamn good with the 5" tip on the straight pipe when its in tow/haul. Then add pulling 4000lbs more than its own weight and the sound will make your mouth water

That's the beauty of homemade hitches though. Usually way overbuilt. I had a state trooper here give me a warning about my homemade hitch once. I then proceeded to show him the bent one that it replaced. He told me to have a nice day.

I would worry about that stock hitch failing before your homemade drop.

Yea the hitch is heavy but thats how we build everything. I bet it weighs 30 pounds :happy2:
