It's all good brother. I still hold to my values though. But don't want to get into that again :rofl: seriously just wondered since it's got 9" deavers out back and I want to keep it at 9ish if I should leave my drop shackles on...

yeah. generally when you get a lift for a chevy and they claim a 8" or 10" or what ever lift. thats how much the front end will be lifted. the rear is usually 2" lower to create a level stance so a 8" will give the rear 6" of lift

For starters this is a used lift and set of tires. Sorry if I didn't ever say thank you but I swore I had and I know for a fact I told you I wasn't going to be able to do it. I also remember being told that it was okay and whenever I could get the money together to let you know. For what it's worth I'm sorry you feel that way and didn't realize it was like that. And so you get what I'm saying this is a 9-11 CST lift, dual fox resis up front, singles out back, 9" deavers and worn 40s on 22s for 2800 almost half the price of just the lift we discussed. While I understand you're upset I didn't realize it was that much work on your end and want to apologize

they are blingy and too big for anyone that will actually use their lifted truck off road lol :D. But seriously, id think your truck will bitchin and perform awesome off road with the kit lowered to 9" on 37s or 38s. 40s are alot of tire to be slinging around off road for the stuff you were tellin me you wanted to do, even with cutouts for the fenders.

New gears? That is an additional expense not to be overlooked.

with the turbo hes doin and power he will be makin, he'll do jsut fine without them lol. ive seen some comparisons of others goin from 37s to 265s at a drag strip and only droppin .2-.3 tenths. sure its alot in drag racing but if you think about how big those 37s are to 265s, you would think it would drop more than that. I know with 37s, i dont feel i NEED gears, 40s though i couldnt say

37s compared to stock size isn't just a power concern. egts are a lot different between the two with stock gears. i noticed quite a bit lower with not only stock turbo but with twins as well.

ah true but the only time i saw that becoming a factor was towing heavy on a big tune. i guess if you did long distance WOT runs it could also cause an issue.
